Around 11:15am today (November 20th) police officers and Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service emergency medical technicians attended a Somerset Road, Sandys parish residence to check on the welfare of an occupant.

Sadly, a man believed to be the 42 year old resident was found in an unresponsive state inside an apartment on the property.

He was later pronounced dead at the scene by an on call doctor.

There does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances and no further information regarding the deceased will be provided at this time, pending next of kin notification.

Update: Wednesday, November 21st - The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 42 year old Mr. James Tucker and extends sincere condolences to his family and friends.

Mr. Tucker was found in an unresponsive state inside an apartment at a Somerset Road, Sandys parish property around 11:15am Tuesday, November 20th and later pronounced dead at the scene by an on call doctor.

Foul play is not suspected and a cause of death is being examined.
