Reports of Women’s Drinks ‘Spiked’ at Liquor Licensed Premises

Police are aware of a voice note circulating through social media and WhatsApp that suggests that there are cases of women who have had foreign substances unknowingly placed into their beverages at liquor licensed establishments.

It should be noted that to date there have been no reports of this nature recently submitted to the police.

However, inquiries have commenced regarding this matter and we are appealing for the public’s assistance in providing us with any information that identifies any victim of such an incident, the suspect(s) and the location(s) or establishment(s) that it is believed an incident of this nature has occurred in.
