Reported Single Vehicle Car Crash in Paget

Around 1:55am Wednesday, May 23rd police officers attended a reported single vehicle car crash on South Road in Paget.
It appears that the driver of the car involved struck a pedestrian crossing light pole in the vicinity of St. Paul’s Lane.
The driver, believed to be a 33 year old Paget man, apparently left the scene prior to police arrival and at this time it is unclear if he sustained any injuries.
Works & Engineering personnel attended the scene to assess the downed pedestrian crossing light pole and the damaged vehicle was later towed away.
