Reported Disturbance at St. George’s Cricket Club [Updated]

Around 11pm Sunday, July 14th police and ambulance personnel responded to a reported disturbance at St. George’s Cricket Club.

Details are limited at this time. However, early information suggests that an altercation involving several individuals occurred.

So far it is understood that one man was injured.

He was transported – conscious and breathing – to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment.

His injury is not believed to be life threatening but a medical update is anticipated in due course.

Update: It has been confirmed that a 22 year old man hurt in a disturbance at St. George’s Cricket Club that occurred around 11pm Sunday, July 14th was transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance, treated and later discharged.

A 32 year old man was arrested for assault on police during the incident.
