Reported Disturbance Near Entrance to Horseshoe Bay Beach

Around 4pm Tuesday, April 30th police officers responded to a reported disturbance near the entrance to Horseshoe Bay beach in Southampton.

The participants in the altercation had left prior to police arrival, but it appears that several individuals were involved.

Inquiries are underway and any witnesses or members of the public with relevant information are asked to call the main police telephone number 295-0011.

Police Seek Car Driver Involved in Verdmont Road, Smith’s Parish Crash

Around 11pm Monday, April 29th police officers were dispatched to a reported single vehicle car crash on Verdmont Road in Smith’s parish.

It appears that the car was being driven east along Verdmont Road, in the vicinity of the John Barritt & Son Ltd. premises, when it struck a wall and ended up over an embankment.

Currently it is unknown if any injuries were sustained, as the driver had already left the scene prior to police arrival.

The damaged car was later towed away. Inquiries continue to confirm the identity of the driver and the circumstances regarding this incident.

87 Year Old Driver Stable on General Ward After St. George’s Car Crash

At last check this morning (May 1st) the 87 year old male driver hurt in a single vehicle car crash that occurred around 1:40pm Monday, April 29th on Mullet Bay Road in St. George’s near the junction with Stokes Point Road was recovering in stable condition on a general ward at the hospital. Inquiries continue and any witnesses are still asked to call the main police telephone number 295-0011.
