Reported Armed Robbery at Grannie’s Kitchen

Around 11am today (June 11th) police officers responded to a reported armed robbery at Grannie’s Kitchen on North Shore Road in Pembroke.
Early information indicates that two men wearing dark coloured helmets entered the premises.
One of the suspects pointed an unknown object covered in a red cloth at a female employee and demanded money.
Both suspects are then understood to have made good their escape on a motorcycle with a quantity of cash.
There were no reported injuries and officers are currently conducting a search of the surrounding area to locate the culprits.
