Pedal Cyclist Hurt in Collision With Car Saturday Morning

Around 11:35am Saturday, May 12th police and fellow first responders attended a reported collision in the St. John’s Road, Woodlands Road, Cemetery Road Pembroke area.

It appears that the collision occurred as a male pedal cyclist riding along St. John’s Road attempted to negotiate the round-a-bout at that location and a car being driven along Cemetery Road also attempted to negotiate the round-a-bout.

The pedal cyclist, believed to be a 40 year old Pembroke man was injured, transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment and later discharged.
