Motorcyclist Injured in Warwick Collision Treated & Discharged

Around 5:45pm Wednesday, March 7th police and first responders were dispatched to a reported collision at the junction of Middle Road and Khyber Pass in Warwick.

It now appears that a 19 year old Warwick man riding a motorcycle in the eastbound lane slid out into the path of a car being driven in the opposite direction.

The teenager was transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance and although initial information suggested that his injuries may be serious, he was treated and later discharged.

The car driver, a 58 year old Sandys parish man, was also transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for medical assessment and later discharged.

Traffic was diverted away from the collision site for approximately two and a half hours while the scene was processed by the relevant police personnel.

Reported Three Vehicle Damage Only Collision in Hamilton Parish

Around 12:40pm Wednesday, March 7th police and Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service personnel were dispatched to a reported three vehicle collision in the North Shore Road, Seon Drive Hamilton parish area.

The collision involving a water truck and two cars occurred near the Shelly Bay MarketPlace and as a result, a section of North Shore Road was blocked for approximately half an hour.

Apparently no one was hurt, but the vehicles involved were damaged.
