Motorcyclist Injured in Collision With Car Treated & Discharged

Around 7pm Wednesday, January 23rd police and fellow first responders were dispatched to a reported two vehicle collision at the junction of Somerset Road and Beacon Hill Road in Sandys parish.

It appears that a motorcyclist was traveling along Somerset Road and a car driver was attempting to exit Beacon Hill Road when the collision occurred.

The injured rider, said to be a 49 year old St. George’s man, was transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment and later discharged.

There were no other injuries reported. However, both vehicles involved were damaged.

62 Year Old Male Pedestrian Struck by Car Remains Stable in ICU

At last check this morning (January 24th) the 62 year old Hamilton parish man seriously injured when a car struck him as he walked along North Shore Road in Hamilton parish near Trinity Church Road around 3pm Thursday, January 17th remained in stable condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.
