Around 11:15am today, police responded to a report of a body being found at a residence on Middle Town Lane in Pembroke. Upon police arrival they came upon the lifeless body of a 65 year old Pembroke man.
As a result, Forensic Support Unit was called as well as an on call doctor and an investigation into the death has now commenced.
No further information will be given until the next of kin has been notified and foul play is not suspected.

Meanwhile, at 5:15pm on Sunday a motorcyclist was travelling north on Par-la-ville road when it appears that the rider forgot to slow down as he approached the speed bump just outside of the Royal Gazette resulting in the rider being thrown from the cycle.
The 43 year old Pembroke man was taken to KEMH where listed in stable in the ICU. Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have seen the collision to contact police on 295-0011
