Inquiries Underway After Suspicious Incident at The Hub in Warwick

Detectives are currently conducting inquiries regarding a reported suspicious incident at The Hub on Middle Road in Warwick around 11am Monday, February 25th.

Police are aware of the security camera footage of the incident circulating on social media and appreciate the impact of the video and the concern it raises in the community.

Witnesses or any members of the public with relevant information – in particular, those who may know the individual(s) involved – are encouraged to call Detective Sergeant Dean Martin at the Serious Crime Unit on 247-1739 or the independent and anonymous Crime Stoppers hotline 800-8477 at the earliest opportunity.

Driver Treated & Discharged After Harbour Road Paget Car Crash

Around 10:55am Monday, February 25th police and fellow first responders were dispatched to a reported single vehicle car crash on Harbour Road in Paget, near the junction with Lovers Lane.

It appears that the female driver of the car involved crashed through a wall, with the vehicle ending up on its roof along the shoreline of Hamilton harbor.

The driver – said to be a 38 year old Paget woman – apparently sustained lacerations to her hand and was transported via another car to hospital, treated and later discharged.

Temporary traffic diversions were in effect while the damaged car was salvaged by crane.

32 Year Old Woman Remains Stable in ICU After Crash Early Monday

At last check this morning (February 26th) the 32 year old woman injured in a single vehicle car crash that occurred around 2:15am Monday, February 25th on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish, near the junction with East Point Lane, remained in stable condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

The 30 year old woman driving at the time of the crash was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and has since been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
