Inquiries Underway After Incident Near Southampton Rangers

Inquiries are currently underway after a collision involving a male motorcyclist and a police vehicle occurred in the Horseshoe Road, South Avenue Southampton area near Southampton Rangers Sports Club around 10pm Sunday (October 28th) as the premises was closing.

The rider, believed to be a 25 year old Hamilton parish man, apparently sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to hospital via ambulance, but left before being assessed by medical staff.

There were no other injuries reported. However, both vehicles involved were damaged.

The scene has been processed by the relevant police personnel and the circumstances of this incident are still being ascertained. Any witnesses are asked to call the main police telephone number 295-0011.

Witness Appeal After Man Stabbed in the Vicinity of Bulldogs Bar

Witnesses are being sought after a man was stabbed in the vicinity of Bulldogs Bar (Court Street, Elliot Street Pembroke area) sometime Friday night (October 26th) or early Saturday morning (October 27th).

Details remain limited at this time but the injured man, said to be a 27 year old from Hamilton parish, attended the hospital – although he left prior to receiving treatment.

Anyone with any information regarding this stabbing incident is asked to call the Criminal Investigation Department on 247-1744 at the earliest opportunity.

43 Year Old Man Stabbed on Harbour Road Now on General Ward

At last check this morning (October 29th) the 43 year old Paget man seriously injured when he was stabbed by two men on Harbour Road in Paget near the junction with Valley Road around 2:53am Tuesday, October 23rd continued to recover in stable condition on a general ward, after initially receiving treatment in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.
