Injured 86 Year Old Female Pedestrian Recovering on General Ward

Around 5:50pm Wednesday, November 21st police and fellow first responders were dispatched to a report of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian on Dundonald Street in the City of Hamilton.

It appears that an 86 year old Pembroke woman was attempting to cross the road outside Masters Limited when she was struck by a car being driven past the store.

She was transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment of her injuries and at last check this morning (November 22nd) was recovering in stable condition on a general ward.

Apparently the incident did not occur on the marked pedestrian crossing.

88 Year Old Woman Involved in 3 Car Crash Remains Stable in ICU

At last check this morning (November 22nd) the 88 year old woman hospitalised after a three vehicle collision on Middle Road in Warwick near the junction with Riddell’s Bay Road around 9am Tuesday, November 20th remained in stable condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.
