In response to recent firearms incidents which occurred between Monday, 3rd February and Sunday, 16th February, the Bermuda Police Service launched an operation which targeted specific persons and resulted in four men with strong gang connections being arrested this past weekend.

Several search warrants were also executed and the police are following up on several lines of enquiry that are assisting with these investigations.

The police would like to remind the public that anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated and we will continue robust policing efforts to stem this tide of gang and firearms incidents.

We would like to again thank the public for their continued assistance with the ongoing investigations into these incidents.

We also urge anyone with information on any person(s) with firearms and or anyone who has information about people who are participating in anti-social behaviour and who may not have yet done so, to come forward and assist your police service.

You can make contact with your local Parish Constable and or the Serious Crimes Unit on 247-1739 or alternatively Crime Stoppers on 800-8477.
