Disturbance on Random Lane [Updated]

At approximately 2:25pm today police received a report of a disturbance that took place at a residence on Random Lane in Warwick.

Early reports indicate 3 males attacked another male and a knife was brandished during the attack.

The victim, a 25 year old Warwick man sustained facial and leg injuries and presently he is being treated at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for injuries that do not appear to be life threatening.

Three males (two 20 year old males, and a 57 year old male) have been arrested and are now being processed at the Hamilton Police Station.

Police have commenced an investigation and anyone who can assist police should call the Criminal Investigation Department on 295-0011.

Update: Friday, February 1st: At last check this morning (February 1st) the 26 year old Warwick man hurt in an assault involving three other men that occurred on Random Lane in Warwick around 2:25pm Thursday, January 31st had been treated and discharged from hospital.

It now appears that although a knife was brandished during the assault, a blunt object was used to injure the 26 year old. A 57 year old man and two 20 year old men arrested in connection with this incident remain in police custody pending further inquiries.
