Around 9:50pm Saturday, September 14th gunshots were fired on Court Street in the City of Hamilton.

Early information suggests that a lone gunman approached a small group of men outside Spinning Wheel nightclub and opened fire.

Forensic evidence at the scene confirms a firearm was discharged.

However, there have been no reported injuries at this time.

The scene has been cordoned off and is currently being processed.

Any witnesses are urged to call Detective Inspector Kenten Trott at the Serious Crime Unit on 717-2345 as soon as possible.
