Altercation at the Bus Terminal [Updated]

Police responded to a report of an altercation that took place at the Bus Terminal in the City of Hamilton at approximately 11:30am today (Monday).

It appears that two men were in an altercation and one of the men brandished a rock and the other male brandished a bladed article.

Both men as a result of the incident were taken to the hospital, with one man being treated for head injuries and the other being treated for neck and head injuries, that at this juncture appear to be life threatening.

Police are appealing for witnesses to contact CID on 295-0011.

Update: Tuesday, January 30th - Detectives continue to appeal for witnesses to an altercation involving two men that occurred at the City of Hamilton bus terminal around 11:30am Monday, January 29th.

Both men were injured and at last check this morning (January 30th) one of the combatants, an 18 year old man, was recovering in stable condition on a general ward at the hospital while the other, a 20 year old man, had been treated at the hospital, discharged and arrested in connection with the incident.
