29 Year Old Woman Hurt in Fatal Car Crash Stable on General Ward

At last check earlier this morning (November 2nd) the injured 29 year old woman said to be from Warwick and believed to be the driver in the fatal car crash that claimed the life of 30 year old Rakai Augustus had been transferred from the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit to a general ward in stable condition.

The investigation continues and any witnesses that have not yet come forward regarding the fatal crash around 11:40pm Saturday‎, October 28th in the Wellington Street, York Street St. George's area between Rose Hill Street and Fort George Hill are urged to contact the Roads Policing Unit on 247-1788.

Almost 3 Weeks On: Injured 30 Year Old Motorcyclist Remains in ICU

At last check earlier this morning (November 2nd) the 30 year old Pembroke man seriously hurt when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a car around 12:10am Saturday, October 14th at the junction of Elliot Street and Union Street in the City of Hamilton remained in stable condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

Inquiries continue regarding this collision and any witnesses are asked to contact the main police telephone number 295-0011.

Traffic Advisory: Fidelity David Saul Memorial 5K Road Race

The Bermuda Police Service would like to remind the motoring public of the Ministry of Public Works’ traffic advisory regarding the Fidelity David Saul Memorial 5K road race on Sunday, November 5th.

From 8am until 10am Sunday there will be no vehicular access to The Lane as well as a section of Harbour Road between Stowe Hill and Manse Road in Paget.

All traffic travelling east along Harbour Road will be diverted at Manse Road while traffic travelling west will not be able to join Harbour Road until Manse Road.

In addition motorists will not be able to access The Lane, or the mentioned section of Harbour Road, from Chapel Road, Valley Road, Highwood Lane, Pomander Road, Appleby Lane or Trimingham Hill, until after 10am Sunday.
