19 Year Old Man Arrested After Stowe Hill Collision Released on Police Bail

The 19 year old male motorcyclist that was involved in a police pursuit and arrested after riding the wrong way up Stowe Hill in Paget around 12:55pm Friday, May 31st – resulting in a collision with another motorcyclist and a car – has been released on police bail pending an upcoming court appearance.

At last check this morning (June 3rd) the other motorcyclist involved, said to be a 40 year old Devonshire man and his female pillion passenger, said to be a 34 year old St. George’s woman, had both been treated and discharged from hospital.

The car driver involved, said to be a 75 year old Pembroke man, was not hurt.

33 Year Old Man Continues to Recover in Hospital After Two Trucks Collide

At last check this morning (June 3rd), the 33 year old man injured in a collision involving two trucks around 9:20am Friday, May 31st on North Shore Road in Smith’s parish, near St. James Court, remained in stable condition in the hospital.

It now appears that the trucks were being driven in opposite directions along North Shore Road at the time.

The 33 year old man is understood to have been a passenger in one of the trucks and apparently sustained leg as well as shoulder injuries.
