16 Year Old Boy Assaulted in The Glebe Road, Pembroke Area

Around 11am today (February 21st) police officers and fellow first responders were dispatched to a reported assault in The Glebe Road, Pembroke area.

It appears that a 16 year old boy was attacked by two other males, with one apparently brandishing a bladed article.

The assailants, described as wearing dark coloured clothing and dark coloured helmets, then left the area on a motorcycle.

The teen was taken to hospital via ambulance for treatment of a laceration to his head and a laceration to his leg and later discharged.

Taxi Driver Crashes Into Wall on Middle Road in Southampton

Around 11:30pm Wednesday, February 20th police officers and fellow first responders attended a reported single vehicle crash on Middle Road in Southampton near Tribe Road No. 3.

The taxi driver involved struck a wall in the vicinity of Five Star Island, damaging the vehicle and the wall.

There were no reported injuries and the taxi driver, said to be a 68 year old Sandys parish man, was subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving.

Two St. George’s Assault Suspects Released on Police Bail

A 51 year old man and a 50 year old man arrested in connection with the assault of a 63 year old man around 12:45pm Sunday, February 17th in the Railway Trail, Mullet Bay Road St. George’s area have been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
