Around 9pm on Sunday, Police received a report of spectators injured at the Monster Truck Show at Kindley Field in St. George's.
Around 6 this morning, Police attended a reported burglary at a Hamilton parish guest property. On arrival officers spoke with the victim, a 41 year old visitor to the island. He stated that around 5:30am he was awoken by a knock at the door of his room. The suspect then forced his way into the room brandishing a machete and demanded money.
At 1 this morning, Police attended a reported burglary at Prospect Preschool in Devonshire. On arrival, officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime earlier an unknown culprit gained entry into the school. The culprit stole a Dell computer with a flat screen monitor and 2 HP laser jet printer cartridges. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
A 63 year old Smith's parish man and a 37 year old Hamilton parish man have been arrested and subsequently bailed on suspicion of fraud, false pretences and uttering.
At 6:30pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Cottage Hill Road West, Hamilton parish residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainants who stated that sometime between 8pm on Sunday and 7:15am on Monday, an unknown culprit gained entry into their home. The culprit stole 8 glass/PVC windows. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Around 8:50 this morning, Police received a report that the cruise ship Norwegian Crown ran aground at the top of Dundonald Channel heading into Hamilton Harbour.
Around 7:15pm on Monday, Police received a report of an assault on Point Shares Road in Pembroke. It appears that an altercation took place at that location involving several individuals. As a result, three of the individuals involved were injured and attended KEMH for treatment.
