Breaking & Entering

At 2:50pm on Tuesday, Police received a report of a breaking and entering at a Warwick guest property. The complainant, who is a visitor to the island, stated that sometime between 11pm on Monday and 6:40am on Tuesday, an unknown culprit gained entry into his room. The culprit stole U.S. $600 in cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 5:05am today, Police attended a reported fire at Whaler Inn on South Road in Southampton. The Bermuda Fire Service also attended the scene. It appears that three doors on the bottom level of the building were damaged by the blaze. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Medical Emergency

Around 4:25pm on Sunday, Police attended a reported medical emergency at a South Road, Smith's parish property. On arrival officers were informed that a man had fallen off a nearby cliff. The victim, a 37 year old man, was observed lying motionless on a ledge approximately 25 feet below. The victim received medical assistance at the scene.
