Sudden Death - Update

The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 28 year old Jahsun Afrika of St. George's. It appears that Mr. Afrika was involved in a basketball game at Mount St. Agnes Academy around 6:15pm on Sunday when he collapsed. The 28 year old St. George's man was rushed to KEMH via ambulance where he was subsequently pronounced dead at 6:40pm by an on call physician. An autopsy is anticipated. The Bermuda Police Service extends its sincere condolences to the family & friends of the deceased.

Sudden Death

Around 10:45pm on Saturday, Police attended a reported sudden death at a Deepdale Road East, Pembroke residence. On arrival officers observed the victim, 62 year old David Walker of Pembroke (a U. K. national), lying in an unresponsive state inside the premises. He was subsequently pronounced dead by an on call physician at the scene. Following initial inquiries no foul play is suspected; however, an autopsy is anticipated.
