At 6pm on Monday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Cochrane Road, Sandys parish residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 7am and 6pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of cash and CDs. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Theft

Around 5:20pm on Saturday, Police attended a reported theft from an Inghams Drive, Pembroke residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 6:30pm on Friday and 10am on Saturday, an unknown culprit stole a Honda power washer from his yard. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

It appears that around 11am today, a single vehicle collision occurred at the Southside Raceway during a practice lap. It appears that the victim, a 34 year old Warwick man, lost control of the 600cc motorcycle he was riding while attempting to negotiate a corner and collided with a fence. He was rushed to KEMH via ambulance for treatment of his injuries; however, he was subsequently pronounced dead. No further information will be released until the next of kin has been notified. Inquiries into this incident are underway by the Traffic Enforcement Unit.
