Death of David Raoul Ellis

It is with regret that the Bermuda Police Service confirms the death of 36 year old David Raoul Ellis, who died as a result of a road traffic collision that occurred on Tween Walls Road in Sandy's parish around 12:40am on Thursday, April 3rd. The 36 year old Sandy's parish man was pronounced dead at 2:53pm today at KEMH. The Bermuda Police Service extends its deepest sympathies to Mr. Ellis' family & friends.

Burglary

At 5:15pm on Sunday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Craddock Road, Sandys parish residence. The complainants stated that sometime between 8am and 5:15pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into their apartment while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a Compaq laptop computer, an I-Pod and two watches. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Loud Music/Missiles Thrown At Police

At 2:15am on Saturday, Police attended a report of loud music at a Mount Zion Lane, Southampton residence. On arrival officers observed a group of approximately 20 individuals gathered at the home, apparently for a birthday party. The officers asked for the music to be turned down and their request was complied with. The officers then left the property.

Burglary

Around 12:15 this morning, Police attended a reported burglary at a Pipers Peak, Warwick residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that around midnight an unknown man gained entry into her home. She confronted the suspect and he made good his escape with a black diaper bag containing a black leather purse with a pink dog pattern, a quantity of cash and personal items.

Around 8 this morning, Police attended a reported burglary at Blue Water Divers & Water Sports Limited in Sandys parish. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 6:30pm on Wednesday and 7:45am on Thursday, an unknown culprit gained entry into the premises. The culprit stole a black Compaq laptop computer and 3 yellow digital underwater cameras.
