The Bermuda Police Service Fraud Unit continues to receive reports from members of the public regarding e-mails & faxes sent to them from unknown individuals stating that they have won a sum of money or asking for verification of personal information or banking details.

Around 2:30 this morning, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury at the junction of Lane Hill and Crow Lane in Pembroke. It appears that the car was traveling east on Crow Lane when the driver, a 41 year old Smiths parish man, lost control and collided with the wall along Lane Hill.

Police attended two reported burglaries that took place at the same apartment complex in Warwick on Tuesday.

At 5:45pm on Monday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Store Lane, Devonshire residence. The complainants stated that sometime between 7:45am and 9:45am that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into their home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a silver Dell laptop computer. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 7:40pm on Sunday, Police attended a reported robbery on Trinity Church Road in Hamilton parish. On arrival officers spoke with the victim, a 35 year old Warwick woman, who stated that around 7:20pm she was riding her motorcycle on Trinity Church Road when two unknown men on a motorcycle rode up alongside her.

Around 10:30pm on Saturday, Police attended a reported robbery on the grounds of the Grotto Bay Beach hotel. The victims, a visiting couple from the UK, stated that they had gotten off the bus and were walking along a footpath towards the hotel around 10:15pm when they noticed two unknown men walking towards them.
